Description:
Classic cocktail, created in New York by bartender Hugo Ensslin in early 20th century. Creme de Violette is often omitted because it is quite difficult to find.
Ingredients:
- Creme De Violette
- Gin
- Lemon
- Maraschino Liqueur
Optional Ingredient: Garnish: Preparation method:
- Fill shaker with ice
- Pour 60ml gin, 15ml lemon juice, 15ml maraschino liqueur and 15ml Creme de Violette
- Shake well and strain into cocktail glass
- Garnish with maraschino cherry
